The Opera House is one of Toronto's longest operating live music theatres.
The Opera House was built around 1905 as a vaudeville and opera house, and was converted to a movie theatre in the 1920s. Today, it is largely considered one of the best concert venues in Toronto with acts like Beck, James Taylor, Bjork, and Offspring. The Opera House is also used for feature film shoots, videos, commercials, television specials and comedy acts, special events and fund raisers.
